ARE YOU SAVED

                                         “ASK YOURSELF”
This is what we ought to be asking ourselves: Am I saved; from where comes my salvation. Is the source trustworthy? Who authenticates your salvation? For it is on record that… “And if any one does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ” (ROMANS 8vs9b). Is your name written in the Lamb’s book of life? Can you say emphatically that when you die now, your soul goes to a peaceful place of rest or the place of torment as the rich man once did (LUKE 16vs23).
The Islamists believed that to any man; two angels’ are given. One at his right, the other at his left hands respectively. The one at his right records the good deeds he has done while the one at his left records his wrongs. And at the end, they are weighed in a balance. The one that out-weighs the other becomes the reward of the person. What a veil?
There are also most individuals who claim that “it is man’s duty to save himself” what a misconception. For the scripture rightly state (ACTS 4vs12); salvation is not found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved- it is in only the name of ‘JESUS CHRIST’ (PHILLIPIANS 2vs9-10).
So it is in Jesus Christ name, that one can obtain meaningful salvation. Jesus Christ is the only best and all time accurate rewarder of peoples’ deeds.
Now that you know that divine and authentic salvation does not come from no other; other than Christ Jesus. I beseech you to accept Him who gives the best salvation the world has ever witnessed. How? That if you confess with your mouth, “JESUS IS LORD”, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved (ROMANS 10vs9-10). So you have to do it yourself for it is a personal decision to make (ROMANS 5vs17); oh! how simple and effective and efficient it is-just go ahead do, and you be glad you did.
                                                                 CONCLUSION
Living the good-life is the earnest desire of every individual whether  great or small. And this is to come from the one and only savior of the world- JESUS CHRIST. He loves you and has not come for you to die and perish; rather through Him you would be saved (JOHN 3vs16-17).
                                                                   REFLECTION
Examine carefully the source of your salvation. And ensure that you question positively what you believe in. For it is by what you do that you would render your personal account to Him that created you. God bless you and keep you in Him as you make the right decision now. Amen.
